Camel - Never Let Go
A lot my life’s hours have been poured into the futile attempt of learning to play Camel songs on the guitar. The riffs are usually simple enough, but damn the guitar solos are maniacal. This song, Never Let Go, is doable though as it only has a tiny solo towards the end and it isn’t as ultra-technical as songs off of Camel’s later albums are.
Camel - Encounter / Smiles For You / Lady Fantasy
Speaking of Camel, here’s my favourite track from these prog gods: Lady Fantasy! (Well, technically, Encounter / Smiles For You / Lady Fantasy) I’ve spent many an afternoon trying to grapple with that first solo on my guitar.
