Pretty Lightning - We'd Rather Be Some Criminals
Pretty Lightning are a German psychedelic rock band that put out this album this year. Lots of people like to lump them in with The Black Keys, but the vaguely Native American vibe to these songs reminds me more of The Collectors, simply with slightly more distortion and a lot less band members. I think these guys are a rock duo, so their sound is fairly stripped down which I think makes for some good September listening.
