This is a really strange record. Robert Calvert, the sometimes frontman for Hawkwind, decided to put out a pair of heavy riffing solo albums in the 70s. This album, sort of like the The End’s debut, splices up the songs using long dialogues about planes and pilots. It gives the album a really strange pace considering after the dialogues are over they careen off into psychedelic rock meltdowns. Posting just one song doesn’t really get the strangeness across though, so enjoy this heavy psych.
