The Spyrals - Trying To Please
I stayed up absurdly late listening to this record last night. The Spyrals are an American psychedelic rock band out that put out this self-titled debut record earlier this year. They capture the atmosphere of bands like Tame Impala and Sleepy Sun, but strip away a significant amount of the effect pedals those bands use, especially in terms of the vocals. I’m a little sad I only came across these guys at the end of summer. This record is perfect walk-around-your-sunny-city-with-headphones-on music.
